- 01• An eating disorder recovery coach takes a goal-oriented approach to care, focusing on the 'here and now.' We will work on neural retraining, coping skills, self-care, body image, and more! • As a recovery coach, I will always practice within my scope of care and will work collaboratively with other members of your treatment team (dieticians, doctors, therapists, etc.). • Whether you are stepping down from a higher level of care or looking for extra support and accountability, a recovery coach can be a great resource! • Disclaimer: Eating disorder recovery coaches are not a replacement for therapy or higher levels of care. Eating disorders are complex and require a collaborative team of helping professionals.
- 02• I work with women who are 14+ years old and struggling with disordered eating, dieting, eating disorders, low self-esteem or poor body image. • Individuals under 14 years of age will be seen on a case-by-case basis. • A formal diagnosis of an eating disorder is NOT required. • For those who are struggling with an eating disorder, I work with individuals recovering from anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), binge eating disorder (BED), other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED), and orthorexia. • Individuals struggling with avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) are seen on a case-by-case basis.
- 03• I am located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. • I see clients virtually across Canada and the US (clients outside of these countries are seen on a case-by-case basis).
